I highly recommend that the people that have to deal with the thai embassy to answer these question due to the facts that each embassy have a different way of dealing with the case.

1- After recieving a confirmation letter from NVC do I sent a (COPY version of the approve I-129F petition packet (packet 1) pluse I-797 and NVC approve letter to my fiance for her interview?)

2 - After recieving Packet 3.

petitioner complete DS-230 and checklist and sent to the embassy.

So on the checklist. Do I (petitioner) complete the info section of the last page and sign the checklist then sent it to the embassy? Or is that for the beneficiary to complete?

~If it's for the beneficiary to complete, does that mean I have to sent that checklist to my fiance and have her sign it then sent it to the embassy? What's your input on this?

3 -Medical examination

- Does the embassy tell you when the medical ex. need to take place or can we go and get it done whenever (earliest as possible)?

So I was thinking about sending my whole K1 petition and a (copy version) of I-797 approval letter from CSC and an approval letter from NVC to my fiance soon. The mailing system would take somewhere around 2-3 week for her to recieve it that's why I wanna get it done early.

One thing I can say is that packet 3 is for the visa applicant even though it is sent to the USC petitioner as is the usual practice for those from Cambodia.

For K-1, K-2, and V Visas:

1. The petition arrives at US Embassy Bangkok approximately one month after the petitioner receives notice from the National Visa Center (NVC) advising him or her that the petition has been transferred to the Embassy.

2. US Embassy Bangkok mails Packet 3 to the petitioner in the US. Packet 3 includes instructions, the required application forms, and a checklist of required documents.

3. The petitioner in the US receives Packet 3. The petitioner is responsible for ensuring that the forms and checklist are completed and signed by the applicant. The requested items should then be returned by mail to US Embassy Bangkok.

4. When US Embassy Bangkok receives a complete response to Packet 3, we will schedule an interview appointment. We then send an appointment letter and further instructions regarding the medical exam, visa photos, and interview to the petitioner in the US. The petitioner is responsible for forwarding this information to the applicant.

5. The applicant attends the interview on the scheduled date. If he or she meets all of the requirements for the visa class for which he or she has applied, we will normally issue the visa the day of the interview

So what about the I-797 and the approve letter from NVC? Can I just make a photo copy and sent it along with the packet 1 to my fiance or does it have to be the originals? I heard somewhere before that you'll need the original of I-797 or approval from NVC letter to complete the AOS in the future.

And thank you for those info

More about the Checklist section

I look through it and found some boxes that either our country don't have that type of system like the:

- Court and Prison records (never been convicted)

- Military records (she never been in the military before)

Or there are some boxes that cannot be check yet like:

- Medical examination (the embassy will sent the petitioner further info about it after they recieve the checklist back)

- K application Fee ($100 at the thai post office) will be done when she go and get her medical exam.

Question is, can I sent the checklist back to the embassy and schedual an interview date eventhough I don't have all of the boxes checked?
