I called the NVC today and the operator confirmed me that they have not completely finished scheduling the September interview. Hopefully, within the next few days they may complete the September interview Scheduling for Mumbai. So, some people who are waiting for interview date (Mumbai Consulate) will get a notification before the end of this week... Others have to wait until the first week in September to know about their interview date in October.

Good Luck to everyone who are waiting for the September interview (Mumbai) date.

Don't take NVC Operators word seriously. They know nothing about Mumbai Consulate interviews...... they will give you a standard and generic response to all callers "we schedule interview dates in first two weeks of each month for the next month and notify applicants in third week". Mark my words...... if your date is not assigned by 20th..... then you will hear from strange operator that wait till 2nd week of September. You see my signature timeline and rest will speak up by itself about it. I had many instances where operators response pissed me off and was bitching about in some case it may also take a year to get interview date..... seriously 1 year to get an interview date? Hope you get your interview date soon, but don't trust on NVC operators word is my frank advice

Yes, smart84. Thanks for the advice. I am really not counting for September and hope to get the first week of Interview in October, 2012. September last week or October first week - It will not make any difference. Once they notify the interview date, I can carry on with my normal day to day stuff!!!!

At least Mumbai consulate still not have posted the whole September month schedule, so there may be a slick chance to get more people on the list. But it's hard to predict because in August they called only F-1/4 applicants in last week and did not schedule any IR-1/CR-1 in that week. In the worst case, you will know your date by September 10th for sure but most likely it will be sooner than that.

Count on me in friends August 10th...same here my husband called NVC today thy said September if full... also on VJ I saw couple of posts stating sep month is full....hope to get date soon.....pls frnds keep posted guys...we can estimate our dates

That implies they will work on October schedule some time end of this month and may notify early September. That's what they did last month.

I read u just hope to get a mail for interview at least we can plan accordingly... Gd luck
