Hello all, this is my first time asking for advise and thats because I have learned so much by reading everyone posting. I am visiting my fiance for the 3rd time and I was wondering if I should give him all the original documents that I submited with the I129F. It would save us some time once we receive our NOA2. I ask this because they say that they may request (RFE) originals from me. OR should I just play it safe and wait until I get the NOA2 before sending him the documents.

Thanks all

He doesn't really need the I-129F packet for the interview. The Consulate will have a copy of it. My fiance didn't need his for his interview in Morocco. Unfortunately there's not much you can leave with him now since you are still waiting for the NOA2. I guess you could leave evidence such as photos and emails and phone records with him (If you have them with you) but you need to prove anongoing relationship so you'll probably just want to send him a packet after your NOA2 for him to take to the interview. Good luck!

Sarah

Hi Lilian!

I am so glad to see you posting...and must say that I love that picture of you and Hani. I am very happy that things are going well and you are heading back again - how great is that - enjoy your stay and I hope to hear from you soon.

When it comes to originals I would wait until NOA2. Believe me, with USCIS you just never know...

Please send my regards to Hani and tell him that Jamal and I are waiting for him to join you...

Love,

Dorothy

What Sarah says is technically true. It is suggested however that the fiance' have a copy of the I-129F packet with hin in the event the CO asks to see something. This does not occur often but it is better to be over prepared

Any RFE from the USCIS most likely can be fulflled with a copy of a document as I would never send them an original unless expressly required, because you will not get it back.

I collected all the original evidence from my side (plane tickets, paper correspondence, photos, etc) bound them neatly and sent them to Ahmed for his interview. He will add his portion of originals (like correspondence) to make one large combined packet of originals.

Welcome to VJ, its always nice to see another couple from Maroc :) Best wishes for a speedy approval.
