Hi guys,

My parents just received an email today . They asked my parents to have these items:

- Passport

- Photos

- Birth Certificate (Shenasname) (original/translation/copy)

- Marriage Certificate (original/translation/copy)

- Original I-864A form from the petitioner's House hold member (2 original samples)

- Petitioner House hold member's US passport or green card

- Military card

Hopefully that is all they need!

I was wondering if I wouldn't travel there, how my parents could get my US passport 5 days before their interview!

I remember sending a copy of my wife's US passport for I-130, but I don't think it was required for DS-230. I don't understand why they would ask for petitioner's US passport 5 days before the interview?? You should take your husbands US passport with you just in case. All of these sudden changes and requirements are making me nervous for my wife's parents. We're still waiting for an interview date. NVC approved case 1 month ago.

Also, I sent all of the original certified translated copies to NVC. I guess I can have my wife's parents take all the originals with them.

Thank you. Good luck to you and safe flight for you tomorrow. My in-laws will be traveling from Shiraz, but I don't think there is a straight flight to Ankara from Shiraz. I have heard that it had become difficult purchasing airline tickets in Iran. Why is that? Is it because planes are not flying as much?

Hi,

I'm in the same boat as you guys, except that my mother's consulate has been changed for the third time.

Naples>Ankara->Yeravan I requested NVC to change the consulate from Italy to Turkey, then after one month or so, they changed it to Yeravan.

I'm not good with dates but it's at least 30 days from the date i received a written letter in regard to this change. I hope that i can receive a letter these days for my Mom's interview date.

Do you think if the interview date is in January, the embassy will ask for new tax transcript? I have a co-sponsor, and he usually files his tax 2,3 months after 16 of April. So if the interview is in January, i will get into trouble preparing new tax transcripts.

BTW, when you're done with your parent's interview, could you please share with us

1-the questions they were asked for? also,

2-if your parents needed to present your passport, because it's totally strange for me.

I have sent all documents to NVC and my Mom has just a copy of them.

3-If you can provide us with a hotel that you booked for your parents and if you were satisfied with?

My mom will be travelling alone so i'm very anxious.

Thanks a lot
