How long for Ankara Embassy to schedule interview? (NVC Case complete)

We gonna be there from nov 8 to nov 17! The appoinment is on 13. Medical is on 9! But we also have sat sun Monday ( Veteran day) as a long weekend! And then three days in case they get approve they receive their visa ! I will inform you more AS soon as I get there!

Today I called Dr. Kristine R. Khachatryan office, her secretary is a nice Persian speaking lady.

My medical appointment is on November 26. I'm gonna be there from November 25 to December 5 in case I approve for visa right after interview (I hope so).

06/22/2012 both I 130 Approved

hello everyone, I was hoping for some help with my visa. So a little background since I am new to the site. My finacee is an Iranian citizen and a Male. I have dual citizenship but live in the U.S. and we are trying to get him over here. I filed for the visa back in March 2012, got approved in September 2012, and got our NVC approval on September 21, 2012. I send my financial packet with everything needed via overnight transit and it was officially received by the embassy in Ankara on Friday October 5,2012. I am just wondering about how long it will take until we get an interview date, and will them send an e-mail/something in the mail or should I just check the interview schedule on the website religiously until they post our case number? I did hire a lawyer who has done the vast majority of the work for me but the waiting seems to get harder and harder as we get closer. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you and best of luck to everyone!!

Base of my experience 2 months after your case is completed you will receive your interview date .where is going to be your office for interview?

My wife's on her way to the embassy soon! Ill update with results!

I130 for my Spouse Filed --> Dec. 25th 2011

I130 Approved --> May 15th, 2012

Sent to NVC & Case Number Assigned --> June 13th, 2012

DS-230 & I-864 Paid --> June 13th, 2012

NVC Completed & Forwarded to Ankara Embassy --> July 19th, 2012

Interview Appointment --> Oct. 11th, 2012

INTERVIEW Passed and NO AP! --> They wont give us the VISA due to a missing paper! :(

Ok she passed her interview but we have a problem.

They won't give her her visa because my name isn't in her Iranian birth certificate. They said that she has to go add my name to her birth certificate.

We were informed by another Iranian that the Iranian embassy will ask for her husbands Iranian birth certificate in order to add my name to her certificate, the issue lies that I dont have an Iranian birth certificate!

So if they dont allow her to add me to her birth certificate what are we supposed to do?????

Oh and by the way her visa is ready and THERE IS NO ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING THANK GODDDDD!!!!

Oh and it will take 6+ months for me to get an Iranian birth certificate... And that is IF they issue me one.

Thank you so much for update! In Iran you can find some محضر which they charge you a lit more and your name without seeing your ID!! Ask ur wife to search for those!

Hello,

I received approval of immigrant visa processing from NVC on Oct. 9th so based on everyone here I expect an interview to be scheduled in December for January. It is true that they are changing Ankara interviews to Armenia?
