hi guys. im new here. my name is jacqueline i just made a new post today which i dont know if i did it right. does any of you know any thing about the military card foriranian applicants ? i applied for a k1 visa for my fiance who is 23 and lives in iran and has not served the military.i got my noa 2 letter and and one of the required documents was his military card. do u think the embassy cares ? sorry for posting her, i just thought u guys may have any info

If he has been exempted from military for any reason , just ask him to send u official translation of his exempt military card along with other necessary civil documents at NVC.

if he did not serve military then it's a good news for you guys cause he will get a higher chance to get visa right after interview.

Just called NVC AND they told me all the Ankara cases transferred to. Yerevan Armania!!$) can u guys also call and confirm it???

Hey guys just a heads up my wife is in Ankara right now with my mother and they are there for my wife's interview (she's iranian) and they found 5 Iranians, 4 women and 1 man, that did there interviews last week and all the women got there visas in 3 business days!!!

No AP!!!!

... The man didn't pass his interview because he was missing some kind of tax document. But he did

I130 for my Spouse Filed --> Dec. 25th 2011

I130 Approved --> May 15th, 2012

Sent to NVC & Case Number Assigned --> June 13th, 2012

DS-230 & I-864 Paid --> June 13th, 2012

NVC Completed & Forwarded to Ankara Embassy --> July 19th, 2012

Interview Appointment --> Oct. 11th, 2012

INTERVIEW Passed and NO AP! --> They wont give us the VISA due to a missing paper! :(

... The man didn't pass his interview because he was missing some kind of tax document. But he did pass.

They said that the key to passing is when you go inside to get your number to sit down to be called they will ask you beforehand if you need a Persian speaking or English speaker interviewer.

If you ask for a Persian speaking interviewer you will do your interview with a pesian lady and if you want English a white male does the interview with you.

They said everyone that's Iranian is getting there visas.

My wife's interview is next week.

Ill update you guys soon when I find out any more new info.

Same thing for my parents!!! They have it on November 13th! I will post the experience ! I will travel to Armenia to be with my parents!

Just received interview letter.My interview has been scheduled on November 29, 2012

strange thing is my U.S. Embassy/Consulate unexpectedly changed from ANKARA - TURKEY to YEREVAN - ARMENIA !

Make sure you call and set your medical appointment! I already did if for my parents!

Thanks for your advise I'm gonna call to set medical appointment and will email them a scan copy of my vaccination card in order to make sure everything is set.

Quick question for you , how long before interview date should I be there? I already booked hotel in Yerevan fron 27/11 - 06/12

We gonna be there from nov 8 to nov 17! The appoinment is on 13. Medical is on 9! But we also have sat sun Monday ( Veteran day) as a long weekend! And then three days in case they get approve they receive their visa ! I will inform you more AS soon as I get there!
