To all the NVC experts.

I was married early 2011. I was permanent resident and became U.S citizen and case updated to IR-1, instead of CR-1( marriage less than 2 years). My case is completed and await for interview schedule.

1. Could this NVC mistake or any rules/laws have changed recently that I don't know ?

2. I plan to talk to NVC supervisor but I don't want to open a can of worms.then NVC review my case again and this cause delay.

3. Act like I don't know anything and go ahead with interview, but I am afraid the embassy find out and then send the case back

to NVC to correct and this will cause massive delay + headache.

Help help please.

Well i would advice you call NVC and speak to a supervisor to get it corrected, it may save you any problems that may come up in the future..... The consulate officer may notice the mistake during your interview from the date you got married in your marriage certificate and then it will become a problem ............why not tackle it now before they schedule your interview.... that's my opinion though.

Good luck good.gif
