Hi, everyone! Is this the right list for packet IV for electronic processing ?

IV Cover Sheet

Form DS-230/Part I & Part II

Packet 3 Supplemental Information Sheet P3

Passport

2 50*50 Passport-style Photos

Notarial Certificate of Birth

Notarial Certificate of Marriage

Notarial Certificate of Police Clearance

I just summited my packet 3 by email as the list above, but I didn't attach any of scanning of the original certificates .

Just wondering , Can Notarial Certificates be used at this step? Are Notarial Certificates enough Or Do I have to attach scannings of the oringinal certificates?

Thank you for your anwers.

so, yer saying -

you did NOT include the civil documents with the DS-230 ?

those must be scanned and sent.

maybe you are confused with 'originals in chinese' vs 'white book notarial translations' ?

white books, at this stage, are sufficient. SEND THE SCANS of the White Book Notarial Translations.

I did scan 3 white books, are those enough? do I need to scan the original certificates? Thanks!

the 3 white books are enough.

let me see if I can remember, and write it properly ;)

A Notarial Translation, white book, includes:

1. photocopy of original

2. translation of original

3. notarial statement from the translator, that the English translation matches the Chinese version

GUZ IV knows all about white books.

NVC sees and accepts white books .

IMO, no need to include the scan of the original in chinese, as it's already attested to, and a photocopy attached, IN the white book.

oops, the marrige white book has no copies of the original attached in that, some of the Nortorial offices in China don't attach copies of original in the white book.

Does that matters? what should I do? Thanks Darnell!
