Dear Friends,

AS many asked this question before, but I did not find any detailed information in VFS website or New delhi Embassy website or this forum.

My questions as follows. please provide detailed answers.

I am US Citizen and I filled petition for my wife, and she is going to have a interview soon. She did not have interviewe date yet, but I wanted to prepare in advance. I do not know what packet, she would get Packet 3 or Packet 4?

Question 1 - What documents should my wife take to VFS? After reading through new delhi embassy website and VFS website most of the document they are asking to submit had already been submitted to NVC. (Embassy website states that DS-230 needed to filled but it did not say that what if you already filled it and submitted to NVC?)

Document submitted to NVC as follows.

DS-230 along with two photographs.

Orignal Marrige Certificate

Original birth certificate

I-864 (Affidavit of Support)

PCC (From Passport office (copy)

Passport copies.

AS my understanding and reading through Dept of the state website my wife did not have to submit any document to VFS if it's already been submitted to NVC. VFS website and New delhi embassy website does not explain that. Please let me know if anybody recently submitted paperwork for their spouse in JALANDHAR VFS.

I read in this forum somebody mentioned that we should submit ongoing relationship proof to VFS also. I am confused? I thought my wife as to take any proof, which shows our ongoing relationship to New delhi embassy at the time of Interview?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.
