Approved on the spot! I was really worried it would be horrible because I have been married before (my girls's dad & my son's dad) and I sponsored my ex-husband's green card 8 years ago. But they never even asked about it! Will post a full recap when we get the rest of the way home!

Great news!

Interview was a breeze and got approved on the spot!

I went in for my 1:45 interview and was called in ten minutes later by a white male in his 50's. At first he gave a strictly professional attitude but after we were sworn in he made conversation and the interview was a piece of cake. He asked all the information in the paperwork and checked off all of our answers on the paper, he took a few minutes to input some of my medical information in the computer and while he was doing that we chatted about Ohio because both him and my hubby are from there. He asked for any other documents I may have brought, I took out some pictures and a couple bills...he skimmed them and said he would take some copies and briefly left the room. When he came back I thought he would ask for pay stubs, lease agreement, marriage certificate, and all the other things listed on the interview notice. To my surprise he gave me a piece of paper stating that my I485 had been approved, he explained the green card and ROC procedures. He happily escorted us out and said he would order the production of my card. I got a txt notice before I even made it back home :)

yaaay!this makes me smile!

Had my interview today at Phoenix office. The interview was very easy and we got approved. We arrived at 11:10am for the 11:15am appointment. There were a lot of people in the room and we waited about 30min to get called. The IO was a nice young lady and the interview took about 10mim. She sworn us in, took our driver's licenses and went over the information on the 485 and 130 forms (name, DOB, place of birth and etc) and asked the 485 yes/no questions. She then asked for my passport and took the I-94. The next question was when and where did we meet. I was not sure who should answer the question so I asked her but she said she does not care. So I answered the where and my husband answered when.....She then asked our occupation and since we said grad student, she asked when will we graduate. Shen then checked the file in her hand and said so I have your joint bank account statement, insurance card and the wedding receipt, honeymoon receipt and wedding/honeymoon pictures. What else do you have? I said we just opened another saving account together and handed her the statement. She asked why we have so many bank accounts and my husband explained the reason (we want to start saving money and start some investment). She agreed and told me my application has been recommended for approval and explained the ROC. She also asked if we have any questions but we did not really have any questions.

Hope everyone here has a easy interview and get approved on the spot! :)

And I got the txt for card production around 4pm Arizona time.
