iaia, congrats on your interview notice!!! Lots of good things going on with everyone!

My last day at work is Dec 7th. I changed it so I can work through a full pay period. I will be leaving Maryland Nov 8th. Gesi starts work tomorrow and is sooo excited! Last week he went shopping for work clothes, boots, etc. lol He didn't have anything because he came for a visit in March and never left, haha. My boss asked me to stay, said they were making changes and these would be good changes and advancement opportunities would be coming. But talking to Gesi and hearing how happy he is being around family and friends in Florida with a job...... I couldn't take that away from him. I can find a job anywhere.... good.gif

Glad to hear that you and Gesi are safe and well! Excellent news about Gesi starting his new job and that you guys will be starting a new chapter in your lives next month!

What should I bring with me?? EAD and Passport?

Day 0 08/21/2012 Sent I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131

Day 1 Received the next day via UPS

Day 6 08/27/2012 email and text for all 4

Day 10 08/31/12 NOA1 for all 4 and Biometric appointment for 09/21

Day 18 09/08/12 REF on I-485, waiting for the letter

Day 31 09/21/12 Biometrics done

Day 34 09/24/12 RFE hard copy for I-864

Day 51 10/11/12 RFE Response sent (about 30 days behind)

Day 55 10/15/12 RFE response review

Day 64 10/24/12 Online status changed to EAD/AP Card production

Day 72 11/01/12 EAD/AP Card arrived!!

Day 73 11/02/12 Interview SMS for December 3rd

Day 76 11/05/12 Applied for SSN and HARD COPY of Interview

Day 104 12/03/12 INTERVIEW DAY!!! 9 am Chicago, IL

EAD and passport was all I needed. I also downloaded and completed the SS-5 form before I went. I was only in there 10 minutes :)

11/29/12 - AOS Interview in Atlanta - 10 minutes long and approved on the spot.

8/16/2012: AOSpacket sent (Day 0 - again)

8/19/2012: Packet signed for at 11:48a (Day 3)

8/21/2012 NOA dated – Form 1-797C –check cashed (Day 5)

8/31/2012: Biometrics letter received (day15)

9/16/2012 Biometrics completed (Day 31)

10/19/2012 no online msg, no text, no snail mail

11/5/2012 (Day 80-still waiting)

The office here required Gesi's EAD and Passport or some other form of ID. Since he didnt have anything else, he used his passport. We were in the office over 3 hours!!! We got there at 12:30pm, left a little after 4pm. It was busy and all we could do was watch their stupid "Star Trek" commercials. Couldn't even text, check facebook or anything without their rent a cop security telling us to get off our phones or go outside. Definitely wasn't a pleasant experience..... lol

You are eligible to file ROC exactly 1 yr and 9 mths from when he became a resident. 3 months before 2 yrs anniversay of being a PR NOT when he got married cuz ppl tend to get confused by the dates...

AOS from F-1(Married to USC
06.08.12 - AOS mailed
09.18.12 - Interview.....Approved!!

ROC- Divorce Waiver
05/09/14- I-751 packet mailed to CSC
05/12/14- NOA1 Receipt date
07/01/14- Biometrics Appt

08/11/14- RFE received

09/08/14- RFE response received by USCIS

09/22/14- 10yrs GC Approved!!

Can't take my passport it's expired.

You should be OK with your birth certificate. I just understand it takes a little longer for them to verify the information. The woman at the office verified my information there and then with DHS using my passport. She said it means it won't take as long to get a number and that I'll likely get it this week.

When I did mine I used my passport and ead. Got my SS without restrictions in the mail today

Day 4.... 08/10/12- Received Email and text confirmation

Day11... 08/17/12- I797C, NOA biometric appt received. Scheduled date 08/31/12 @ 12:00

Day16....08/22/12- Biometric appt completed.... Early walk-in less than 15 minutes

Day16....08/22/12- Received NOA hard copies in the mail for I-130, I-485, I-765

Day38....09/13/12- Received text notification for interview. Scheduled date 10/18/10

Day40....09/15/12- Received hard copy for interview. Scheduled 10/18/12 @ 12:45 Holtsville NY

Day61....10/06/12- Received text notification about EAD card production

Day66....10/11/12- Received 2nd and 3rd text notification about EAD card in production

Day67....10/12/12- Received notification card was picked up by USPS

Day70....10/15/12- Received EAD card in the mail. I'm loving it
