My I 765 is on post decision activity. Is that normal? Did that happen to any of you befor it went to card production

Mine was at 'card production' when I checked it online. I never saw it show anything else. Have you checked it again since?

11/29/12 - AOS Interview in Atlanta - 10 minutes long and approved on the spot.

Are EAD and AP useless if we get the GC 1-2weeks later?

What is their use then?

As far as I understand EAD is to work when you are not a resident. But once you have GC, you don't need EAD.

Should I give my employer the new EAD number, and then in 2 weeks the GC number?

At least I didn't pay for this one, and I didn't apply for AP, since I thought it was useless. Am I wrong?

What do you think? I guess most of you applied/paid $400 for travel doc?

It says they reopened my case and reviewing their earlier decition? My case was never closed. I'm so confused?

does it say that in the little ext below the "initial review, decision, etc..." labels?

The I-131 (Advance Parole) and I-765 (EAD) fees are waived when applied for with I-485 (AOS).

The EAD+AP is for you to be able to start work and travel out of the country while your AOS is still pending. Once you have your GC, you do not need either one.

Ask your employer which one they would prefer. It shouldn't really be difficult to update them two weeks after with your GC.

There is the answer. I applied for free for AP/.EAD because you never know how long green card might take.

No it doesn't! But it could be that they are sending my case to LA! It doesn't say that I am denied or anything.
