Adding myself to the August AOS filers. Received my biometrics appointment notice yesterday (scheduled for Sept 14 in New Orleans). Hopefully, those with similar timelines will be receiving theirs soon

Instead of dates what there is is day #, and the day number from a previous stage.

Oh, thanks guys! I was doing it anyway so why not share it.

I hate having a holiday in between! I want my biometrics! Do my walk-in and start next waiting stage...

My EAD expires sept, 18. My job at the university will probably send and email requesting new for 2 weeks later. (That is what they did last year)

This gives me about 5 weeks to have new EAD. I hope that by then, if not EAD (doubt it) at least I'll be able to say: I'll have it in 10 days or something.

Keeping fingers crossedd to get a RFE, so evrything goes smoothly, but here are my doubts:

- My husband makes a little below required income, so we added mine as household income, but I am nervous that they won't take it because it's teaching contracts (9 months work/ 3 months in summer off). Though new contract is already running.

- To be safe we got a joint sponsor. My father in law who is retired ((income 19,000) and self employed (income -3000 in tax return). Total in IRS 1040 line 22: 16k There is another page in the tax return that shows another 15k income as sale liquidation. That brings him above required, but what if the rules are stick to form 1040. And I only submitted his full tax return, no W2 or 1099 since he doesn't get them as self employed. (no transcripts at the moment, though I have them now)

Yep, definitely not easy. I've decided to learn a new language and brush up on another I know so that's keeping me busy right now!

I check the USCIS site every morning and evening...
