Like I said I am in L.A.. When I went for my biometrics, I got there 20 minutes before they even opened. I was 8th in line and it took 1 1/2 hours until it was my turn ( first come, first served)

I can only imagine how long it will take for an interview.

Have you ever looked at the uscis site how long their timeline is?

I want my interview notice too!!! I'm so impatient!

i am in LA too. i think LA is busy local office.

I'm in Illinois and my uscis office is downtown. The application center were I had biometrics was 5 minutes away from my house. My bio appointment was 30 minutes, I had about 10 people in front of me. Infopass waiting time was 15 minutes.

Timeline hasn't change for uscis. I think they got a lot of September/October activity

Day 0 08/21/2012 Sent I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131

Day 1 Received the next day via UPS

Day 6 08/27/2012 email and text for all 4

Day 10 08/31/12 NOA1 for all 4 and Biometric appointment for 09/21

Day 18 09/08/12 REF on I-485, waiting for the letter

Day 31 09/21/12 Biometrics done

Day 34 09/24/12 RFE hard copy for I-864

Day 51 10/11/12 RFE Response sent (about 30 days behind)

Day 55 10/15/12 RFE response review

Day 64 10/24/12 Online status changed to EAD/AP Card production

Day 72 11/01/12 EAD/AP Card arrived!!

Day 73 11/02/12 Interview SMS for December 3rd

Day 76 11/05/12 Applied for SSN and HARD COPY of Interview

Day 104 12/03/12 INTERVIEW DAY!!! 9 am Chicago, IL

Day 4.... 08/10/12- Received Email and text confirmation

Day 8.... 08/14/12- Check cleared

Day11... 08/17/12- I797C, NOA biometric appt received. Scheduled date 08/31/12 @ 12:00

Day16....08/22/12- Biometric appt completed.... Early walk-in less than 15 minutes

Day16....08/22/12- Received NOA hard copies in the mail for I-130, I-485, I-765

Day38....09/13/12- Received text notification for interview. Scheduled date 10/18/10

Day40....09/15/12- Received hard copy for interview. Scheduled 10/18/12 @ 12:45 Holtsville NY

Day61....10/06/12- Received text notification about EAD card production

they probably won't know anything, but have you called?

renzo1989 is also on 5 weeks ans ASG 8 weeks since bio. :(

I am also in California so a delay was expected unfortunately.

My husband is active duty military and I will be moving be to North Carolina. Does any one know how busy the office in Raleigh is?

08/08/12- USCIS email & text notification only I-765

08/13/12- NOA biometrics appointment (08/28/12)

08/14/12- Early walk-in biometrics appointment SUCCESSFUL!

08/21/12- NOA I-130, I-485 & I-765 receipts

10/06/12- USCIS text notification I-765 EAD card in production

My best friend had a friend go through the immigration process in North Carolina and it went pretty quick. I think application to interview was 4 months.

Well we spent tonight getting everything ready for the interview. We got all the documents in order, we got our leased signed by my friend (yay!) We went over the AOS questions in the guide section here on this site. Everything is packed and organized. I think we are ready but still nervous. Well, I am lol Gesi seems to be fine. I work tomorrow evening until 2am. Then we'll get some sleep and head to Baltimore on Monday afternoon. Our hotel is .5 mile from the immigration office. We plan to enjoy a night out in Baltimore, go out for dinner, walk around the harbor (it's beautiful!!) And then the interview TUESDAY at 11am!! biggrin.gif

Well we spent tonight getting everything ready for the interview. We got all the documents in order, we got our leased signed by my friend (yay!) We went over the AOS questions in the guide section here on this site. Everything is packed and organized. I think we are ready but still nervous. Well, I am lol Gesi seems to be fine. I work tomorrow evening until 2am. Then we'll get some sleep and head to Baltimore on Monday afternoon. Our hotel is .5 mile from the immigration office. We plan to enjoy a night out in Baltimore, go out for dinner, walk around the harbor (it's beautiful!!) And then the interview TUESDAY at 11am!! biggrin.gif
