Okay I am confused here. Gesi and I went out to eat dinner. At 4:45pm I get a text saying our case for EAD has been updated. Then again at 5pm. I couldn't check it on my phone but when I got home it said "On October 11, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

This is the same update we got on Saturday the 6th. I wonder if they changed our status by accident (4:45pm) notice then realized ours was already in production and changed it back (5pm update)??

Got my interview notice txt message today. Interview on Nov.13th.

11/29/12 - AOS Interview in Atlanta - 10 minutes long and approved on the spot.

08/09/2012 - confirmation of package delivery

08/14/2012 - text/email notification of all 4 application acceptance

08/24/2012 - received biometric appt for 09/07/2012

08/27/2012 - successful walk-in biometric in Atlanta

08/27/2012 - received NOA for I-485, I-131, I-765 still waiting for I-131

10/01/2012 - received NOA for Initial Interview on November 1st in Atlanta

10/11/2012 - received text notification that EAD is in production

10/19/2012 - received EAD in the mail

11/01/2012 - interview in Atlanta: no approval on the spot

11/01/2012 - text notification later that day that I was being registered as a permeant resident :)

Just got our message that EAD was in production.

~OUR STORY~

4/2012: Met online and began this cRaZY journey

9/2/2011: He proposed and I said YES!!After multiple trips back and forth.....

7/4/2012: He entered USA at LAX on B2 to visit 6 months

8/8/2012: We got married!!8/8/2012: AOS packet sent (Day 0)

8/10/2012: Packet signed for at 11:48a (Day 2)

8/14/2012: We got our txt/email notifications (all 4) (Day 6)

8/16/2012: Checks cashed.. (Day 8)

8/23/2012: Biometrics letter received via "snail mail" today.. September 7th at 12p in Sacramento CA (Day 15)

8/27/2012: Finally received all 4 NOA1 hard copies via US mail (Day 19)

9/7/2012: Biometrics completed!! (Day 30)

9/19/2012: Received txt message for interview!! October 22nd, 2012.. (Day 42)

9/21/2012: And the interview letter comes in snail mail.. October 22nd, 2pm in Sacramento..Time to get the final stuff together.. (Day 44)

10/16/3012: Received txt msg, EAD is approved and card being mailed. Right before interview and not really needed anyhow!! (Day 69)

10/19/2012: After a bunch of repetitive text messages, my husband received his combo card EAD/AP.. Of course four days before our interview!! (Day 72)

10/22/2012: Interview.. APPROVED!! (Day 75) Next journey ROC!!

10/29/2012: Green Card received in US mail... (Day 82) WOO HOO!!

~ROC BEGINS!!~

08/25/2014: Lifting Conditions Packet Mailed to CA service center (Day 0)

08/27/2014: NOA1 Receipt (Day 2)

09/05/2014: Biometrics letter received via "snail mail" Set for September 15th at 10a in Sacramento CA (Day 11)

09/15/2014: Biometric completed... now we wait!! (Day 21)

11/21/2014: Card/Document Production email received!! (Day 88)

12/01/2014: Card arrives in our mailbox.. this chapter is over... (Day 98) Next is citizenship!!

It gets sent by usps since it is going to a PO BOX. I sent priority overnight, $24... But because it was heavy

Day 0 08/21/2012 Sent I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131

I've read that the "second" EAD card production means they have mailed your card.

I also got my first notice 10/6 and again today.

08/03/12- AOS packet acceptance (I-130,I-765,I-485)

08/08/12- USCIS email & text notification only I-765

08/13/12- NOA biometrics appointment (08/28/12)

08/14/12- Early walk-in biometrics appointment SUCCESSFUL!

08/21/12- NOA I-130, I-485 & I-765 receipts

10/06/12- USCIS text notification I-765 EAD card in production

Yay. You finally got your package out! You should get updates soon. My online status changed to rfe review two days after I sent my package. I did not even get a chance to use the tracking number from post office....

08/21/2012 Sent I-130 and I-485 via Fedex

08/28/2012 email and text for acceptance

09/08/12 NOA1 for 130 and 485 and Biometric appointment for 09/21 (I did not check my mail from Aug30 to Sept8 so I am not sure when exactly I received those....)

09/08/12 Received txt message for RFE on I-485

09/15/12 Received hardcopy RFE letter in mail asking for current EAD card and visa to show legally work in the US

09/18/12 RFE replied via USPS priority

09/20/12 Online status changed to RFE review

09/21/12 Biometric completed

10/11/12 Interview notice received for Nov 13th

11/13/12 interview approved

Okay I guess that makes sense. We got the first one Oct 6th at 8:30am, we got the second one today at 4:45pm and the third at 5:00pm, that's 3 texts so I guess it's officially one it's way now?

Just got our message that EAD was in production.

YEY!!

I asked for priority overnight, but by the time I made it to the post office it was like 3pm...if only I had the papers in the morning

haha! When I mailed my package, It was like 150 pages and was in a big yellow envelop.I went to the post office at about 4 pm, and he suggested that $17 flat rate. I asked if he had a bigger envelop and he said: "I do, but it would be more expensive since it doesn't get the flat rate. In your place I would make i fit."

so my friend and me, removed a bunch of extra clips, folded the envelop, taped it and squeezed it, it was almost breaking, but it fit, close & left! lol!

You will get 4 status update total for EAD. 2 card production. One when it's mailed and another when it's delivered

Does anyone know if you have to go to the Social Security office that services your zip code or can you use any office? We have 2 relatively close by, one closer than the other but the closer one isn't the one listed as the one that services our zip code. Also, the one that services our area is so close to DC and super busy. The closer one is in a rural area and I am sure less busy! I guess I could call tomorrow.....
