I had to fill the paperwork again, he is going to overnight the signature page. I have my RFE response ready to go. So I will send it tomorrow. Do I really need to make copies of that?? He sent me a lot of papers...I mean A LOT. He gave a new meaning to the words "complete tax report"...that thing has like 40 pages

I pray that once this is all said and done your interview goes super smooth cause at this point you deserve for everything to be easy

Just checking in. I am off today (haven't had a day off in 8 days) so I am resting and trying to catch up on things. I booked our room for Baltimore. Even though it's only 1.5 hours away, the appt is at 11am and we have to fight DC and Baltimore traffic so I just booked a room so we can take our time that morning and not be rushed. The kicker is, I booked through Priceline, got a $259 dollar a night room for only $75!!! And, it's 1/2 a mile from the Fallon Bldg!! How awesome is that???

So are we the first in our group for an interview?? Ours is Tuesday morning.....

I think a divorce becomes a red flag or looks a lil more suspicious if you were petitioned for by the spouse to whom your divorced or vice versa. That's my opinion. We're in America where people get divorced everyday like it no big deal so i would hate to believe that it would be such a big issue

Hahaha that is awesome. You did the right thing cause i know what that rush hour traffic is like arrrrggggg. I think you're the first one up. We're waiting to hear good news on tuesday

Gesi and I both have been divorced. It doesn't make a difference. The only time it does is if you are your spouse have petitioned for or been petitioned before. Then there is likely to be more questioning regarding that marriage/divorce. But we both submitted our divorce decrees of course, it's pretty black and white and both were over 5 yrs ago so I do not see it being a problem.

I was worried about my divorce, it only became final in May, but we had been living apart for 2 years (in the UK it's how we do no contest) before. I met my now wife when I wasn't looking to meet someone more than a year ago, she knew about the fact I was still married and it didn't bother her. I just made sure that I had copies of the Decree Absolute to send with my applications.

i expect that my wife will be expected to know the details of my former marriage, which she does, but I don't expect more than that.

11/29/12 - AOS Interview in Atlanta - 10 minutes long and approved on the spot.

ROC in 2014!

Yes we do. 17 month old twin girls, born in Argentina, we made them US citizens when they were born. We were living outside USA for 2 years

So here we go. That's your ace in the hole right there along with the fact that you guys have been together for 4 years, his father is your co sponsor. You won't be given a hard time make sure u bring their BCs

Day78....10/23/12- Got 2 text msgs about card production

Day79....10/24/12- Green card mailed
