I just wanted to see what was happening with my application. It's been 3 weeks since I went to my scheduled biometrics. I was just wanting to get an update and she just referred me to the processing times I already had in front of me.

I was wondering if my biometrics was being held up because I have lived in a few different countries over the years, but she didn't say anything about that - just repeated that my application had been accepted and my I-797C should have told me the next step...yada yada...

Bla bla bla...when I called about my rfe I had to listen to the girl talking (reading actually) for over 5 minutes about what a rfe is....every single time I called.

Infopass was the same

I know. She had to read me a script in the beginning. She also told me my local office was Orlando, it's not. She then told me that there is a 4 month processing guideline on the I-485, which she went on to say that it meant my local office would only be up to May 5th today. I didn't have the heart to tell her that isn't what it meant, poor girl!

Hahaha...oh no!!! When I called and the girl was giving me the speech, I was also responding, so she sais "you are ahead of me on this! You know a lot!" I just laughed

It's a sad state of affairs when they provide a service that isn't really fit for service.

I called the noninformation hotline once. Needless to say, their "help" doesn't help. At least they are polite about it, though, bless their little hearts! Hopefully you'll hear something soon.

Wow. See what happens when I don't get online for a few days??!!?? I agree, it is quite presumptuous to assume that someone is doing something wrong or illegal just because they don't want to fall in line with the status quo everyone else finds to be "normal". (Rant warning)...... ... preference. No ulterior motives.

Great news today on our AOS journey! Have been checking online every day. Still listed as "RFE response review", but we got a paper notice for my husband's interview date!!!! November 8 at 10 am!!!! Very excited, it was so completely unexpected!! Saw the USCIS envelope, and really figured (with the online status unchanged) that it was yet another RFE, so boy was I surprised!

Yes, someone assumed having no credit means something shady, but we mostly took it as an excuse to discuss about credit or non-credit preferences, and if we actually need it or not. we assume we do, but it's very enlighting to learn by your example that we actually don't.

So, who is first in line for interviews? Maybe I cannot read the spreadsheet right, but it appears interview dates are not there. Just want to know who to watch for.. . Ours is coming up in two weeks.. Yikes

Line 24 is when we got interview notice. the mustard-color number is our day#, and if you mouse-over the little triangle on the top-right, you can see the date

Line 29 is the actual interview day. the day is our day#, and the actual date on the triangle in the corner

I moved the interview date beow the EAD since that seems to be the order. but all RFE lines are pink background, EAD lines are blue, and interview lines are yellow

now, if you see that line 29:

ASG (should have been the first but no interview yet) then Kim&gesi: oct 26, shranjan: oct 15, jessie05: oct 18, MlovesW: oct 22, abila: oct 18, ArJo***: oct 31, SBB: oct 26, khaled: oct 29, Mayrad**: nov 7, sameh**: nov 11, me=frenchican: nov 6

meaning: for almost everybody interview is on our day-75, getting notice 32 days before. - (except people above with * that have their interview later. ** on day-86 and *** on day-89)

About your timeline, you were ahead of me, but ended up doing your bio on scheduled day while I walked in 20 minutes after I got the hard copy. but besides that, everybody was getting interview notices between day 15-21, but in september-october it changed to 21-27 days after bio! you are on your day 21, so your week to get it is just starting. you should get the notice sometime in the next 7 days.
