I feel my case is strong enough to get approved but do you think having another person on my lease other than my wife would spoil my case? we have 2 bed rooms , one for the other guy and one for me and my wife. he is also married and visited by his wife over the weekend.

I have the same dilemma. My husband best friend lives with us. We're all on the lease

I don't think so. If you live in a very expensive place (CA, NYC) where renting is high compared to other cities in USA you def need a roomate

The most important thing is that both your names are on the lease. Doesn't matter who else is on there. I wasnt even on my husbands lease.I am now because we just renew it.

I guess you're right. You just stress out over every little detail in this situation. I can't wait to for it to be over(at least for a 1yr 9mons)

Even I am thinking so. Hope Adjudicator thinks same way... I kind a getting little nervous as the interview coming close.

Yeah its a stressful process and I want too to get over it asap and enjoy my married life

Columbus is relatively cheaper but I have already spent lots money for organizing my wedding ceremony and reception in India this December and anyway I am planning to move to new state next year.

Well I rent from my best friend but I moved here before I ever met Gesi. Once he can work finding our own place will be top priority.

Columbus is relatively cheaper but I have already spent lots money for organizing my wedding ceremony and reception in India this December and anyway I am planning to move to new state next year.

And moving to a new place is pain so just renewed my lease and added my added my wife.

Columbus is cheap. We have a roommate too, I moved with them a year before we got married

I would suggest to simply say the truth: we kept the lease with roommate because we are/were saving for the wedding.

In my case, we don't even have a lease, landlady just wrote for us a letter of proof of tenancy, didn't mentioned the 3rd roommate, but if they ask us we'll just say the truth, not moving because we are saving for a house down payment.

I am wondering how long I should wait for news of an interview date before I try chasing it up? It's been 13 days since I completed my biometrics appointment.

I am on 25 days after biometrics: sept 07. (day 41) ...... still no interview letter........

It's difficult to judge by most others because a lot of people did walk in biometrics, instead of their assigned day. I guess I will just wait and see what happens this week or next. I'm not in too much of a rush, I'm enjoying the free time as I can catch up on my reading and some writing.

It did slow down. we were having interview letters the earliest day 36, the latest 42, now we are 42 to 52 and nothing.

I checked some september filers and not much activity. besides their NOA1, no news in the last 2 weeks, And for previous filers (july) they are waiting for interview in this coming 2 weeks but not many EADs either, and since mid-september there is no timelines updated.... interview email is even going to day 66!

Day 27 - 08/20/2012 - 2nd Biometrics Notice received. Same day walk-in biometrics done.

Day 41 - 09/03/2012 - Email notification of interview.

Day 43 - 09/05/2012 - interview hard copy

Day 63 - 09/25/2012 - EAD txt notification

day 30 - 07/09/12 -Walk-in biometrics completed ( 3 days early)

day 66 - 08/15/12 Email notification for Interview for day 98

day 67 - 08/16/12 - interview hard copy

day 67 - 08/16/12 - EAD in Production
