Grrrrrr.... RFE!!!!! Gotta send some addn'l info on my income. Sigh..... Still set for Biometrics on 13th. No way we're trying a walk-in, as we have to drive a bit over 2 hours and into a neighboring state to get there.... not worth the risk! If I get all this stuff sent off today, maybe we'll be back on track by the time we go for Biometrics anyways. We also have a MSC number. Hoping that's a good thing because our area stated it goes through Vermont.

Do they even look at the forms before you have your biometrics appointment? This seems all going so quick?

They will check if the forms are properly filed, if yes then they send out bio appointment.

If no, then usually they will return the whole packet back to you.

Got my biometrics appointment! It's on 9/25! Yeah!

hey Tanja! go back behind on the waiting line, your getting in front of me!! haha! kidding! It's seems you and me are getting the notices at the same time though you filed 3 days later. Even your bio was scheduled 3 days before me.

It's funny how each case is different.

And look at ArJo & Pam Muss, that filed days before and nothing yet. so weird...

Now, I want my EAD so my job is not affected. If I get it in 30 days, it's cool. And I don't see it so impossible. When I filed 2 weeks ago, I thought EAD always took 3-4 months, I was so upset I filed so late.

And of course! I hope I don't get an RFE, or at least one I can send back the same day and not something about getting another sponsor .

Well... until then, wait game begins. When the guys that completed bio 20 days ago start moving, I can start getting anxious again

It's funny because I read your update and I told my husband to check the mail. He thought I was crazy! :)

But guess what I got my notice!

I'm not going to do the walk in, so we will see what difference it makes!

2012.09.07 - (day 16) - fri, 10:00 am, Walk-in Biometrics completed

About my experience, as soon as I saw the envelope, I was afraid it was an RFE, opened it, check boths bar codes were there, got in the car almost without shoes and drove to the office downtown columbus, ohio.

there was just one person ahead and one after. 10 min. later I was called into the fingerprint booth and the lady told me: "I am sorry, but you don't have an appointment... " (I thought noooooooo, they won't take me!! :crying:), then she finished the sentence. "...We have to take you after scheduled people" Then I waited 5 min more until person after me went in, then me. And that was it.

Oh! And they corrected my height, I wrote 6'8'', and she said I don't think so, and changed it to 5'8''. (oops... they should have asked in metric!)
