I also did a walk-in. my biometric appointment was originally scheduled for Aug. 28 and I still haven't had an update. So I wouldn't trust hearing back by Monday but it sure would be nice!

Naw, I am not thinking I would hear anything BY monday, I said hopefully next week sometime we will hear something since some seem to get updates the afternoon or 2-3 days after their bio appts!! I definitely know nothing before the scheduled date, but praying soon after

I just read that the NBC (National Benefits Center) does the initial processing for EAD and AP and 485 but then transfers the case to CA or VT for interview processing? But maybe since our case numbers are MSC it still still be processed through Missouri since it seems Vermont is extremely slow right now... but who knows. I am just waiting it out. I can't do anything to make it go any faster. I do enjoy talking to you all though, it seems to make it a little less stressful knowing others are at the same point in the process as I am!

Wow that soon after? boy, am I jealous! Jk let's just keep our fingers crossed & hope for the best that's really all we can do at this point.

not necessarily, from Chicago every cases go to NBC. After that it goes either CSC or local office.

As long as you are not adjusting from K1 visa, you will definitely have an interview and will finish your journey way faster than CSC.

I would think that by default they don't let make your case go on top of the case pile just because you completed the biometrics.

But, if the agent cleared his pile, and the next guy in line completed bio, he will resume with case and not let it sit until your supposed-date comes.

If we review dates, it takes about 20-30 days after biometrics are complete to get interview notice. So if you complete before, it can advance 7-10 days the notice.

If you check the "july example" in the spread sheet, the girl walked-in. She got the interview unusually fast, but nonetheless before scheduled biometrics date:

- bio notice (day 18) with appointment (day 38)

- walked in on day 22.

- interview appointment (day 36)

Also, 7-10 days earlier don't change much the whole case, but if you are in a hurry to get your EAD, and the only thing they need is the biometrics. It might advance it a little bit.
