So happy for you Xanax! You made it!

No news here. I did call but can't seem to get anywhere. Patience is a virtue...right?

I wonder if there are any other August filers still awaiting an interview besides me.

Funny I just told my self that Patience is a virtue this morning. lol

I am an August filer too. Still waiting for my green card. I checked the USCIS website everyday but the status still show acceptance. Hoping we will hear something from them soon.

Don't give up hope you are not alone. It does seem like a slap in the face though when some November filers get an interview before August filers. I don't take it personally. It is the system and perhaps individual offices where this type of thing occurs. It is nt that we have been at this since 'just August', K1 filers sent in documents a year before this last August so it is a very long time to be sure. We need to keep each other's spirits up lest we fall into a depressed mood.

Let's hope this week is the week we get notified of our soon upcoming interview. Most of this group had theirs in November....I can't believe it is March 10th and still no word but, perhaps its time now.

Anything yet? Maybe you should contact your local congressman..

i got worried every time i saw my case status that still acceptance, its unfair someone get their green card earlier than august i don't really understand the immigration. when i call to ask my case status they said my case was transfer to Missouri service center. i cant even go out to house and im afraid if i will be waiting until one year... i thought its only 6 months to receive the GC.. very frustrating.......

Still here waiting with you with no word. I did call and they said if I don't hear a thing this week to call them back on Monday. I notice on the home page, someone said 48,000 (if I read it correctly!) petitions were lost at CSC.

I don't even want to imagine something like that.

Hi August filers do you lnow if any movements in NBC?

The short answer is no.

After a long wait and my date had passed I put in a service request and was told to wait until April 6 and if it is not looked after to call back. Today I called back. Now they tell me because of the huge workload, to call back May 6th. It seems they have no system at all! December people are getting interviews while we in August are overlooked. I ended up with a migraine...again.
