@Xanax - I was sorry to read that you still haven't got an interview date, but then I saw that you got something today :) It will be 1/28 before you know it!

@elbear - I'm sure you'll hear something soon. I have everything crossed for you...

@Tanja08 - Any update on your case status at all?

@Green Train - Have you been approved yet?

Hope everybody else is doing well? I'm just about to finish my second week of work and I'm loving it! I am working with a great bunch of people and the opportunities are fantastic. Also just got approved for my first US credit card; it's secured, but it is a start :)

I wanted to take the opportunity to wish the group a happy new year and I hope we all have a wonderful 2013. Thank you all for sharing in my AOS journey and for allowing me to be a part of yours...

Thank you :)

Elbear, what is the priority date of your field office / what is your field office?

St Paul's current priority date is June/July. So we have to be patient.

I just got my interview notice and I filed a full month before you.

Judging by MY timeline, I would expect you to hear something at the end of this month and an interview for at the end of Feb/ start of March.

Yep, the same. You should call the 800 number because you are outside the processing times!

It says (above the processing times): "IMPORTANT: If your receipt notice date is earlier then the processing date shown, we suggest you call our USCIS Customer Service Office at 1-800-375-5283 for assistance."

Hello Everybody!!

just got back from Mexico after 1 month. Hubby met his in laws, experienced short road trips and vacations with them, and survived! They loved him even if my parents communicate with him with signs when me or my brother weren't there to translate. It was fun. He survived and kept the good mood in spite of our family constantly-yelling-at-each-other dynamic.

on the good side, at the airport, in the immigration line, I was on the "citizens & residents" for the first time, took 30 seconds instead of the usual 20 minutes in line, plus 10 minutes of questions

they still took all my fingerprints (cmon! how many sets of fingerprints can they need!) anyway... in that line they don't yell at you, don't look at you with inquisitive looks, they don't tell you to stand behind the line, on the contrary, they tell you nicely to go to the officer with your husband... funny how things change with a little card on your hand

Merry (belated) xmas!

Happy New Year! Best wishes for the coming year!

Congrats to interviews, GCs, jobs, drivers licenses, ...etc!

I just caught up with 1 month posts

@tanja, any news? they're probably just goin back to work at the normal pace this monday. don't worry. If you've learned something here, it's patience

I did phone and waited for a real person but all she would do is read what is posted online which is the same info I can get. The info has not been updated since November 27th so I'm still in the holding pattern.

Let me know how your interview goes.

Did you speak to a level 2? They should be able to put in an expedite request for you. The level 1 will do nothing :(

Hello AOS August filer fellows...

After seeing there was a tread on this, I went through almost all posts and decided to call (1-800-375-5283) and check for the status of our application...

A little history... we sent the I-485 (together with EAD and AP requests) on 08/17/12 and got a reception notice short after that... we're done with the biometrics appointment and have received the EAD and AP combo card (around November)...

Going back to what our status could be... the answer from the system says that our case is in Lee's Summit, Missouri... we're in PA... so what could this mean?... that we won't go through the interview? that our case is stuck in the system? or...

Please is anyone can give us any idea of what this could mean... much appreciated
