Hello everybody. I'm going to have my interview on Thursday! I'm so nervous and exited at the same time! Does anyone have some advise?

Hello, I am a September filer and going cross my fingers for you.

Please share your experience afterwards...my hubby and I have to go to the same office in 4 weeks.

02/01/2010 - transferred to H1-B

05/08/2010 - met my love

08/11/2012 - got married! :)

AOS (from H1-B) Timeline:

09/11/2012 - (xx) - 130, 485, 765, 131 package delivered to Chicago Lockbox at 11:53am (Express Mail address)

09/14/2012 - (03) - checks cashed

09/21/2012 - (10) - received hard copies of NOAs for I-130, I-131, I-485,I-765 and biometrics appointment letter

09/24/2012 - (13) - walk-in biometrics completed

11/10/2012 - (60) - text/email: EAD card production ordered

11/14/2012 - (64) - 2nd text/email: EAD card production ordered

11/16/2012 - (66) - text/email: EAD card has been mailed

11/21/2012 - (71) - EAD/AP in hand

12/04/2012 - (84) - text/email: Interview scheduled for January 8th! :)

01/08/2013 - (119) - Interview. Approved on the spot :)

01/16/2013 - (126) - GC in hand! Done for 2 years

ROC:

10/14/2014: mailed ROC package

10/20/2014: NOA 1 recieved

10/24/2014: Walk-in Biometrics

03/26/2015: 10 yr GC in mail :)

N-400:

02/18/2014: mailed N-400 package

Got my Green Card in the mail this morning and I finally start work next week. All the background checks finally came back and I can finally start bringing home the dollars!

11/29/12 - AOS Interview in Atlanta - 10 minutes long and approved on the spot.

ROC in 2014!

Got my Green Card in the mail this morning and I finally start work next week. All the background checks finally came back and I can finally start bringing home the dollars!

Concurrent filing of I-130/I-485:

06/28/2008 - Met my future husband in South Africa - love at first sight! Lots of visits in between -

04/29/2011 - Married in Mississippi

06/12/2011 - Moved to South Africa to (finally) live with my husband - issued SA conditional residence permit

05/23/2012 - Came home to visit family (on B-2) - was offered a dream job in July (2 weeks before we were to go home) and we couldn't turn it down! It took us ~1 month to get everything we needed here and finish paperwork.

08/20/2012 - Day 0 - I-485/I-130/I-765/I-131 package mailed to Chicago via FedEx

08/28/2012 - Day 7 - E-mail and text message notification received for 4 forms

08/31/2012 - Day 10 - Received hard copies of NOA1 (x4)

09/02/2012 - Day 12 - Received biometrics appointment notice; scheduled for 09/14/2012

09/13/2012 - Day 23 - Received hard copy of RFE (dated 09/07/2012) for unabridged birth certificate

09/14/2012 - Day 24 - Biometrics appointment in New Orleans

10/17/2012 - Day 57 - Interview notice mailed (received hard copy the 19th) for November 19th. We just moved to California that week so interview is being rescheduled.

10/20/2012 - Day 60 - Online status shows EAD card production

12/14/2012 - Day 101- Interview in Fresno, CA; approved

12/28/2012 - Day 115- Green card arrived in the mail!!!

Day20 - 10/16/2012 - Biometrics Walk In - Successful :)

Day33 - 10/29/2012 - EAD card Production Ordered-Pleasant surprise :)

Day37 - 11/02/2012 - EAD Card received - WoW !

Had my interview last Thursday! That went very well! But I got an rfe because I didn't send the birth certificates with my affidavits of a bona fide marriage! ( never heard of that). We were able to sent two birth certificates on Friday but I couldn't get a hold of the third person!

The IO called my husband and was nice enough to let us send a different one.

We faxed those over yesterday morning.

And now I'm just waiting! :(
