I have applied for AOS from K-1 Visa after my marriage. I received I-797C with notice of a scheduled appointment for biometrics. I am moving to a new home right before the appointment date and will be closer to a different USCIS office. Should I go ahead and keep the appointment made at the office close to my old address and then notify USCIS of my new address or do I need to request a new appointment for a date after my move to the new address? I am not sure what is the proper way to do this, I do not want to get in trouble for not notifying them I am moving.

Personally, I would take the appointment letter and passport (and anything else which it requests) and do a walk-in at the biometrics office. Let them know your new address on the forms and at their desk, and then send in the change of address form to USCIS.

try a walk in this week, before the moving van shows up.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
