Thank you all for the help!

I guess I'm just getting nervous about the whole thing. I'm sure everyone has some kind of nerves to this. We all just want it to go fast and smooth and have no issues.

Thanks again! :) :)

Maybe others are pros at this or something, I don't know how many times they have done this process. (You would think most are doing this for the first and last time.) My original petition gets sent out and I am supposed to send a copy to my Fiance as well and I have one for myself. I don't see how it is not necessary to make copies. It is a high risk to do this process with out a single copy.

Many have gone through the process already. Some have gone through it once, while others have gone through it more than once, and then others, such as myself, are doing it for the first time. Regardless, it's all about doing the homework. As you said, "It is a high risk to do this process with out a single copy." Others saying it is not necessary may be true but misleading at the same time. The whole idea of making another copy is called preparation. One shouldn't expect all things to go perfectly (i.e. lost in mail, lost at embassy), and one should also prepare the beneficiary with the information obtained in the petition. The CO may or may not ask about a specific detail in the petition. It may not be necessary for a physical copy of the petition, but it is certainly necessary for the beneficiary to be familiar with the contents of what he/she is being interviewed over.

Thomas was a ball of nerves too before his interview. Just don't take any pictures of the embassy (they kind of don't like that)! Best of luck! You can read his experience of Frankfurt within my timeline details if you're interested.
