Aloha Everyone!!

Just like to ask about evidence of remittance.. I know some people here use western union or Xoom. But us we use bank to bank.. Can i use my bank statement as a proof of remittance from my fiance? Is it enough evidence for the consulate?.. I am now preparing my requirements for my interview in September. Thanks Everyone!!

Yes, it is. Every bit as good as the more expensive methods of sending money.

If you don't mind my asking, which banks are you guys using?

Thanks for your quick reply.. I have BPI account here but my fiance send it using another bank in Hawaii, or sometimes a remittance center owned by a Filipina too.. and its cheaper and faster.

so maybe i will just print my bank statement online as my evidence.. Thanks a lot again.. :-)

Not sure if evidence of sending money is of interest to the CO at the embassy, they never asked to see anything of that nature with my wife, and we didn't even have copies of any transfers in the papers. But if you are going to bring such documents to the interview bank statements are as good as any.

As much as possible I will bring everything I have, than regret at the end. I hope bank statement is enough, im going to bring receipt too when i withdraw in the ATM.. hehehe.. But I will just wait for them to ask those, Thats what others advise in here too.. Thanks!:)

yah!! Thanks! How is it going now? Did you get earlier date for the interview.. I already stop calling and i just booked a flight there to get cheaper ticket.

I stopped calling last week after the floods and USEM closing. We are just fortunate to have an interview this coming week, especially humble after hearing that people from the VSC with my date still haven't received their NOA2's.
