a few days ago I asked if i should send in original birth certificates and original marriage certificate, however i was just reading something from the jamaica consular and it is saying my husband must arrive at the embassy with his original birth certificate, and police report how will that be possible if I send it to nvc?im lost I have a feeling this nvc process is going to drive me crazy all I want is to have my baby with me is that too much to ask for

ok good thank you for clearing that up for me I was about to have a panic attack

Olomi, is right..when looking up information for ur case make sure that u are looking at IR1/CR1. I have notice that K1 people post information on the forums regarding IR1/CR1 visas which are really for K1 VISAS that getting people mixed up. It happened to me as well. The best way to make sure its accurate is to go to immigrantvisas.state.gov that will tell what to send for ur visa type. I would recommend that copies are also carried to the interview as well.

True. It almost tripped me up too.

Petitioner LPR upgraded to USC June 22, 2012
August 22, 2012: case complete
October 18, 2012: Interview (APPROVED)
October 26, 2012: Picked up visa from DHL (delay caused by Sandy)
December 15, 2012: POE Atlanta....................became USC July 2016!!!!

Mothers' Journey (My sister is the petitioner)

September 10, 2013: Sent I-130 (UPS next day service)

September 12, 2013: Received text to confirm delivery

September 16, 2013: Received NOA 1

March 22, 2014: Received NOA 2

April 8, 2014: File Received by NVC

May 26, 2015: Interview (approved)..........now LPR (delays caused by 2 RFE)

I had the same panic, i emailed USCIS and said how am i supossed to send them with original birth certs if i mailed them to you. they emailed me back that they fwd everything to NVC who is supossed to fwd everything to the interview in kingston....god i hope that is correct!!!!
