Hello,

Please help! I have some newbie questions. My wife and i are currently on h1b visa (hers will expire on september 2012, mine is on december 2012). My wife's I-140 was just recently approved, our I-485 is now pending as of july 2012. my wife as the primary applicant and me as a derivative/dependent. We also just received our ead and advanced parole yesterday aug.9, 2012. our contracts with our current employer ends september 2012.

Do we both still need to apply for an h1b extension since we dont have the green card yet? Do we still need to resign another contract next month with our current employer or can we go work for another employer now? Or does this applies to both of us or just one of us (being that she is the applicant, i'm just the dependent)?

Pls. Reply. We need your help. We just need to do right legal thing without jeopardizing our green card application. But, at the same time, we want to explore other employment options. Thank you
