Si, man... toddlers are miniature wrecking-crews.

Whether you mail the photo with an explanatory letter or you take it to an InfoPass appointment, attach or bring the cutest picture that you have of your daughter, with a caption saying "The Culprit" or "The Budding Crime-Suspect Artist" or similar. That should lighten the mood, if the USCIS person has kids or any sense of humor.

OP, more than likely ANY attempt to "fix" the photo will result in the reviewing officer thinking the photo has been tampered with. Leave it as is, supply addition photos and confirmation it really is

I have four kids and I have never had any of our passports destroyed. But then, like all other important documents, they stay in the safe. Don't blame it on the kids, the kid was just being a kid.

Oooh one more thing mimolicious.. It was lying around, but my comment was kind of intended in humor.. but you clearly dont see the humor in it, so maybe my delivery was a little off.. or you just looking to start trouble... didn't you notice the little cartoon guys hitting the other little cartoon guy in head?

It was not "laying around". It was secure enough, specially when they had just arrived. Or else it would have been where my other documents are, in a locked up suit case. If you were joking around, that is fine, but I didn't ask for a joke. i asked for advise to a potentially serious issue. Anyways, thanks for the joke friend. Cheers!

• Mar 02, 2012 - NOA2 (Notice by text message and Email) [Took 105 days]

• Mar 07, 2012 - NOA2 Hard copy arrived by mail.

• Mar 19, 2012 - NVC recieved my case.

• Mar 20, 2012 - NVC fowarded my case to US embassy in DR.

• April 05, 2012 - DOS gave us our interview date. (May 14th)
