That's kind of what I was getting at. Why are some men taking it upon themselves to decide who else are "real men" and fit their standards? Seem bizarre. I don't have a checklist as to what makes a "real woman" ...

I think some believe that the only way they can call themselves men is by being able to fit in some private club and feel accepted. Their manhood depends on validation from others. All signs of insecurity.

The only qualms I have are about the conflict where it says men sink, and how it states men failing to listen to their wives are the reason for so many marriage failures. I can see plenty of times when women can't make a choice to save their life. I wonder if even w/ driving counts. Men might take higher chances while women wait 'til the last possible moment. IDK. I thought money was the biggest issue for divorce, according to some sources. Being hen pecked... maybe I see it as it was the woman's job to realize who I am and whether or not she wanted to be with me always. People rarely change, and it's not inflicted by someone else.

I'll agree to the having no friends but it's not about intimacy issues. I do laugh at a lot of situations but it's more cuz i just don't give a F*. The situation doesn't bother me, can't change it, so whatever. And maybe knowing all about a wife is all that matters to me for intimacy. You can gather who a friend really is by the stories he tells you.
