Good Day VJ's,

I just want to ask you guys if retired person can still petition his GF as a K1 petitioner? Because he was retired a year ago as a military and had a girlfriend and they really want to get married together here in the US for them to be together here, but the thing was he was confuse if there is any problem about it. Thanks in advance!wacko.gif

Sure he can - the only question they will ask is if his retirement income is sufficient to overcome the poverty guidelines. I was a military retiree when I petitioned my wife (she was a K1 then).
