nervous about DCF London

We submitted our I-130 to London on 2 of July and we've not had anything back yet. I read below somewhere that someone received an email confirmation within a week of submitting, but we've not heard a peep. Is this normal? Should we be concerned? Am I just really impatient?

I know of several people who did not get NOA1 when doing DCF at London. I did get it though. Did you send recorded or special delivery? If you did, you can check that it arrived there. If it did arrive, dont worry, just wait it out. 4ish more weeks and you should be about at NOA2 stage. If you didnt send recorded or special, give them a call 09042-450-100 £1.23 a minute Just to check it got there ok.

Thank you for the reply. I did send it recorded and it says it was delivered the next day, so at least I know they have it. I supposed I'm just a little bit impatient.

I feel the same, Im still waiting for my case number and it seems to be taking forever! I waited 69 days for NOA2 and they seem to be in a similar, perhaps a little faster time scale right now for processing them. So i dont think youre going to have very long to wait now at all.

Sorry i take that back! The second i posted that, the postman delivered my case number They seem to be getting things done reasonably quickly now.

Congrats! Do you think we have another 30 ish days to wait then? We're trying to get everything together for the next step, but it's hard waiting for our approval. And we're in Notts as well, small world

Oh I hope it's closer to 3 weeks, I'm driving my poor postman crazy.

Well we've been here for almost an entire decade, and it's just time. I miss my family {I'm the USC} and it would be nice for our child to get to know his American grandparents properly. What about you guys?

Well we've only been here just short of 2 years and we're struggling to find work and cant have a car or anything like that and we're just sick of trying to make it work when my husband could go back to his old job in the US and we can do all of the things that we want to. Our daughter has never met her grandparents over there either. Plus i absolutely refuse to send her to Bulwell Academy!
