On August 3, 2012, we received this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or contact our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

WHAT THAT'S MEAN? they need some evidence???

08/31/2012 - AOS Package sent (via priority mail)

08/31/2012 - IV Package sent (via priority mail)

09/04/2012 - NVC received both packets (due to weekend & labor day holiday)

09/11/2012 - AOS/I-864 accepted

09/17/2012 - RFE for DS-230 ques 30

09/19/2012 - Mailed new DS-230 by overnight mail

09/21/2012 - New DS-230 delivered at NVC

10/01/2012 - IV Package accepted

10/01/2012 - Case Complete

10/02/2012 - Interview date assigned by email

Mumbai Consulate:

10/05/2012 - Medical Done (Got the report on same day)

11/07/2012 - Interview @ Mumbai Consulate (Result: APPROVED)

11/09/2012 - Passport Pick up

11/22/2012 - POE Atlanta

To the best of my knowledge this is a standard response to acknowledge that they have received your petition/application. This menas you are now at NOA1. For now u don't have to anything until they hear from them. But should u change your address u need to notify them. Now u have to wait for NOA2, as several of us are. Which service centre is processing your case?

this is my mail from USCIS. so the 7-10 days they not going to followed? thats suck :(

That means that you should receive the hard copy of the notice (NOA1) in your petitioner's mailbox. It will take months before a decision can be made on your petition. Most of the wait is because there are MANY cases to be adjudicated.

Your I-130 was approved in 184 days from your NOA1 date.

NVC

04/23/12 - NVC received both cases (18 days/12 business days from NOA-2)

05/07/12 - Case numbers and IIN's (14 days/10 business days since NVC received)

05/07/12 - Sent out DS-3032 by email; auto-response received

05/08/12 - AOS fee invoiced, paid - "IN PROCESS"

05/09/12 - AOS fee shows as "PAID"

Just buckle up you were sent to Vermont. Hoepfully they will start picking up the pace. They are adjudicating at 6 to 7 months currently. But this is the Visa Journey game anything can change.

Now you can go to the USCIS.gov site and register your receiopt number and watch the paint dry. Cuz it won't change until like others have stated you get an RFE or NOA2 (Notice of Approval).
