Called NVC and they said package got to Manila Embassy on the 9th of July. We waited for letter to be mailed to my fiance in Manila. They sent the letter to me instead of her. My address in the US and titled to her. What the heck. I just got it yesterday. Shouldn't they have mailed it to her? Luckily when I called on the 9th we got the MNL number and paid so we have interview scheduled. Keep calling NVC till you get your embassy number because they may mail the letter to you and that adds another month of waiting.

Hi just like to ask calling NVC for case number how does it benefit? As soon as u have case number u could pay ur visa? Or schedule interview? We are just waiting for the letter or email from NVC that they recieved and send out the documents to consulate because we thought everything has its own processing time. But calling helps, i will do that double time. Thanksss

its important to call, especially if you want them to update any mailing information you might have and with some consulates, you can do medical and schedule visa appointment with the case #.
