I just became a US citizen last month and received my US passport today :D

My mother has been living in the US for several years now on an H1B employment visa. I would like to petition her for permanent residence. My research has led me to the I-485 Adjustment of Status form. Is this the form I should be filing? If so, are there any additional forms I need? I read something about filing for a family based immigrant visa as well, but I am unsure if we need to do this since she already lives in the US with an employment visa. Any feedback for how we should proceed would be greatly appreciated!
