Lets see. I have a guy I know who has 7 kids. He is on every form of public assistance known to man. He paid in 400 dollars in taxes and got back 7000. I work 6:30 Am to 5 PM every day, and had to pay an additional 8K over what my withholding was. They basically handed it to this guy. He then takes FMLA because his wife is with child for number 8. He parties for a month on the money.

Oppression takes many forms.

The people responsible for the plight in the black community are the ones who don't think there is any need for people to protect civil rights. There are many of them on VJ.

I never said it was okay for anyone. I think it's disgusting from both sides .. but let's not pretend that whites have it worse here because they can't make a joke.

Actually figuring it's politicians and 'community organizers' that try and squelch whitey when he makes a joke, then it is slightly worse. The best thing we have in this country is our voice. If your voice is shut down and you are made irrelevant thanks to a double-standard, then yeah, it is harmful.

Actually if you understand history, blacks are equally to blame for their own slavery.

After all, people weren't just kidnapped and taken against their will out of Africa, they were bought from their 'owners' and government in Africa to begin with.

I live in MN, now and have never seen this. We shop, work, socialize , everything with people of what seems like 100's of different races.

Point taken about my sarcasm, but in my opinion Liberals and Black leaders have done more to damage black people than any grand wizard of the KKK ever could. Liberals in their rush to end poverty and correct the injustices of slavery and the discrimination that followed, have absolutely destroyed and waged war on the Black Community.

example.. when i was living in an apartment a black guy moved into one of the units. My Liberal friend went into overdrive, making plans to extend the welcome mat and gushing on about how we must make him welcome. I pointed out that 5 other tenants had recently moved in. I asked if she knew them. Of course she had not even spoken to them .My point was, why are you treating him different just becuse he is black. . The stupid stuff liberals do to try to appease and prove them selves not racist, is in it self racist and degrading. Just treat people like people.

Your right one does not make a whole, but giving one example is just that an example. This attitude is prevalent among those that call themselves progressives, better known as liberals.

After 30 or so years of the war on poverty, affirmative action, civil rights laws, EOC, DOJ, Quota's etc etc, blacks as a whole are worse off in almost every measurable demographic.
