I love this forum. It's so predictable. Mention something that's clearly a racist jackass being a racist jackass? Well, we have to talk about Al Sharpton, or Obama, orrrr we have to say "this is horrible, BUT" and then go on about the double standards the poor white folk deal with. Never fails.

Can you be a little more specific, are you referring to a double standard with humor or the student whose slot at a college was taken by a lesser deserving student?

Or maybe the fireman who was passed over in promotion because his demographic was all wrong though his test scores were far superior?

Or maybe you are referring to the small business whose bid for a contract is dismissed not because his prices wasn't lower but his status as minority-owned failed to qualify.

I never said it was okay for anyone. I think it's disgusting from both sides .. but let's not pretend that whites have it worse here because they can't make a joke.

I actually did read the article. How many teachers do you think in our public education system have compliant filed against them at some point. Bet you it;s most of them. So it was alleged that some nut job teacher made black jokes in the class room and he got suspended. However as usual the article makes it seem as if it is so awful this could happen in today's society. Yes it was wrong, but dear lord it is not like there is some generalized institutional nationwide program to deny black children a learning environment.

You can bet your last dollar that those parents are out for a pay day and that's all.

He's had complaint after complaint for years. And yet, he was still teaching. And he didn't even get fired, he resigned. And is still getting paid. For the kind of ####### he was pulling in the classroom, as a parent, I would have been pretty damn upset as well.

You seem to be under the impression (or you were earlier) that this was dealt with in a timely manner. It was not.
