NOA2 in 84 days?!

So my fiance and I are spending some time together and decided to randomnly check the status of our application on the USCIS page because he had a delivery notification at his place - and wasn't expecting anything. He recently dropped his phone in a lake (long story, ha!) so hasn't been able to receive texts but we thought.. hmm... maybe..... The projected timeline was originally for October 25, but has been going up by a day every single day the last month or so.

Then today - It says NOA2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unreal!!! That's more than 2 months earlier than we thought! It's all kind of mind boggling and we may actually have to delay the interview scheduling instead of delay a wedding haha. I guess the next step is to wait for the whole mailing of the i-129f from CSC to NVC to the consulate etc etc. Then the packets. So it is obviously still not over but wow.

I don't know what people in the California Service Centre have been eating lately but I suspect it may be infused with some sugar :thumbs:

January 25, 2016 - N400 Application Mailed

May 11, 2016 - Citizenship Interview + same-day Oath ceremony!

Congrats!!! We got ours on July 31st! We were not expecting it either, SO exciting!! Maybe our interviews will be around the same time :)

Congratulations to you too!!! So much faster than we were expecting wasn't it? We should keep track of each other's progress! Who knows if we'll run into each other in this process. Good luck waiting for the file to be transferred - I guess we are both waiting on NVC for now!

I got our NOA2 in 43 days and was just as shocked as you were (no expedite)! We are now at the P3 stage in Montreal hoping for a September interview date! :D

12-20-2011: Biometrics Appointment for her

It was so much faster! Such an nice surprise! We might run into each other you never know! I am visiting and we decided to called the NVC last night and they had received our case and assigned us a case number. So you can wait just over a week and then give the NVC a call! Hopefully it gets sent to Vancouver soon!
