How do we get notified of interview (K1)?

We are at the 5 month point as of 2 days ago waiting for NOA2 from VSC. It looks like it could be as much as 2 more months the way things are going so my fiance in Ireland and myself in the US are thinking about having her come visit again while we wait for the NOA2 and interview. What worries me is figuring out how we will know what her interview date is if she is here when we get the NOA2. Do we both get notified? IF so, then getting her back for the interview will be no problem. If it only comes by phone or mail to her home, then it seems she would have to be there waiting for it and that seems to be the big hangup because, theoretically, at any time now we can get NOA2. Right now, she's sort of stuck with business details there concerning the home she owns and rental contracts for the future but once that's resolved, we can be together again for awhile and that would be a godsend because waiting for the K1 to trickle past all the red tape barriers has been agonizing.

So, it's all about finding out when she has to be back for the interview. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

I know that in our case, the consulate in Guangzhou sent the appointment letter via email to both us. However, we had previously listed both of our email addresses with the GUZ consulate.

Check the VJ information page on the Dublin interviewing embassy for details. At that stage of the process, each interviewing embassy/consulate does things a little differently. Hopefully a forum member that has gone through Dublin will comment with specifics.

Good luck on your visa journey.
