I'm a long ways away from getting my NOA2 but wanted to plan ahead. I read on LingChe's shortcuts for NVC package, that you should send your last year's tax return in its entirety, not just the last 3 years of tax transcripts. Anyone have any experience with this, or tell me the reasoning the NVC would need the actual tax return?

The only reason I am hesitant to send my last years actual tax return is because my job title on the tax return, is different from my job title at my company. I mean it's "similar" but it can definitely be misinterpreted as a different job altogether. Can I get away with only sending in tax transcripts and my current year's paystubs? Or not send in my letter of employment?

Could this discrepancy trigger an RFE from the NVC?

When i sent mine in I just filed the current years return so it wasn't in the system yet, so i sent in a copy of the filed return including all worksheets and schedules W2's and the previous 2 years transcripts along with the last 5-6 months paystubs, no problem with that for the NVC

I believe the reason why they say entirety is because for those who may have just filed the previous year do not have the transcripts and entirety means like what the previous poster said. All forms, schedules, W2. However you said you have Tax Transcripts or can get them. I know I just got mine for 2011 so I am ready. They love Tax transcripts.

What I would do for the title just simple write a letter of explanation so there is no confusion. Leave nothing for them to imagine fill in the blanks for them.
