At work, and I came across this link;

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/deferred-action-program-could-legalize-1-8-million-221839009.html

How does that affect us? I mean with the back logs thats going on now. Will this mean that the wait will be longer. I dont start removing conditions till sometime next year..but its just something that I have been thinking about since I saw it on yahoo news.

What are your thoughts?

This is good news for those who will be given the opportunity to become legal in this country. I am not sure why you believe this will effect you? Please explain how you think this will negatively effect removing your conditions or your spouses conditions?

of course it will,

are you kidding me!

ALL BACKGROUND CHECKS ARE DONE BY THE FBI. no one else can or will do this job,

I dont see or think that USCIS will hire a lot of new people (or contract a new third party company) for the data entry process they do because of the budget they have set.

so obviously people who are waiting for a response from uscis will have to wait a bit more. specially in big states.

c'est la vie...

You are definitely entitled to your opinion but I would suggest to look through the lenses of the illegal immigrant before judging them so harshly. Educate your self regarding what they have been facing because of their status and show some compassion. We all need a little compassion here and there.

I totally agree with you. You're wasting your time, he won't listen to you.

I had heard that August 15th is the BIG EAD date for the immigrants to start filing and CSC especially is coming to a crashing halt MAYBE. Than I hear No they are opening a new service center just for that. Like what they really went and hired a bunch of adjudicators like that. Oh please. So I would say brace yourself. Change is coming.

Buut I also say bravo its a long time coming. Election or not its the right thing to do. And step it up another notch you here illegally and no criminal record please proceed to your nearest USCIS office and file pay and get your legal styanding. We need more tax payers ya'll. Just saying.

Im not against about this whole dreamers issue! But i was wondering what is going to happens with all this kids after the 2 years of parole ends? President Obama granted them EAD for 2 years! Then what? Their option would be: be deported or keep living as ilegal imigrant. Is bul$&@ to think they ALL gonna get visas based in work and jobs in order to keep them in here in legal terms. Im not against Obama, i moved in to the US 4 month ago, and i havent live here enough to make a well documented and think opinion, but from my point of view, it wasnt a smart move. When you take this kind of desicions, you need to think in long term. They are happy now, but then? People said he do as a strategic move to gain voters in latins community, but if he did it for those reasons, are really bad reasons to do it. Im immigrant also, a legal one, and i cant help feel sorry for all the people who is struggeling with ilegal immigration. Hope they would find a real solution for them

Because there is a back log already....and now this!!!!

We will have to wait longer..unless they plan on opening a new center for whats gonna happen Aug 15th

I have paid thousands and thousands of dollars to do things the right way, the LEGAL way and someone gets it for $500..No bueno!
