in the form DS-260 in the question: my petitioner is my: the opcions are father, mother, sister, spouse, child, stepfather, stepmother, employer, uncle, aunt, grandparent, in-law, self. But fiance don't appear, what should I choose? :help:

You should choose spouse.

This is incorrect information for those applying through Juarez for a K-1. They most certainly do fill out the DS-260. The DS-230 is not a form that is used for a K-1 at Juarez.

Sorry my mistake...I thought all K-1 apps used the DS-230 form, but I guess in some places there are exceptions.

I just re-read what I posted and it seemed a little abrasive, so I apologize for that. The different consulates all have different procedures and requirements. I have no idea why Juarez decided to use a form that is not intended for use by a foreign fiance(e) applying for a K-1, but they did. It confuses a lot of people when they get to that part and there is no choice for fiance(e) so you have to just use the closest thing, which is spouse. No DS-230 for Juarez. If you have no criminal background, no police records needed there either. They basically only use the DS-260, DS-156/DS-156K and I-134.
