Have not received any NOA after two weeks of sending my AOS package! Should I be worried?

Hello fellow visajourney members!

I sent my Adjustment of Status package two weeks ago, and have not yet received anything back from them.

I would have expected by this time at least one NOA.

I did not send form G-1145, the lady that was guiding me through the process told me not to,

that it was better for me to receive physical notifications by mail from them.

But now I regret not sending it because I would probably have news by now.

I've heard of other people getting a notification in about 2 days when sending this form.

I sent it through USPS certified mail, the status said it has been delivered, this was 2 days after I sent it.

So I know for a fact they received my package.

My questions are;

Could it be that they're taking this long to send me anything because I didn't send form G-1145?

Is it normal for them to take this long when they're sending you NOA through mail?

Should I be worried?

I would appreciate any answers you guys could help me with.

It can take up to 30 days to receive the NOAs.

What happened in the end? When did you get your NOA?

Just to add that adding the G-1145 doesn't speed up the process, and doesn't stop to receive the updates by mail.
