Hi everyone, my husband is just applying for I-130 to bring me to USA. I am a filipina with 3 kids ages 17, 15, and 13. My question is do we have to apply for their I-130 at the same time? Another question is my son has two names and the middle name that he's using is my maiden name. What should I put in his first name and middle name. (first name which is two names on it?) and the middle name is my maiden name? Please need information about this so I can fill up the form. Thanks and God bless to all.

Where do the siblings come into this.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Is your husband a US citizen? If so then an I-130 will also be needed for each of the kids. If your husband is a permanent resident then he only needs to submit an I-130 for you - the kids will be eligible for derivative visas, but you'll have to wait a couple of years for a visa number.

I have no clue how you should list the names.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!

My husband is a US citizen, but his visa is only a tourist visa. He always file for extention every 59 days.

About the name, form always say FIRST NAME ...MIDDLE NAME...LAST NAME...All of kids have two name like for example John David. Here in the Philippines we used our mother maiden as middle name. And as far as I know, in USA they put the second name as middle name. So that's my question. Do I have to put the my kids second name as middle name?

Your husband being on a tourist visa means he cannot petition for you directly with the embassy (DCF filing), but he can still petition you via the lockbox in the USA, and as mentioned, the kids will need separate I-130 (and separate fees).

I would treat the second first name like a middle name.
