Hi all!

I have a question, how do I know that my case is completed? I did not register on EP (electronic processing), so I did not get any email stating that I was able to complete my case...Hope somebody can answer me. Thanks!!!

Hey Just call the NVC Customer service number.. And they would let you the date on which your case was completed

Yes, I've tried to email them already.,but did not receive answer yet. Just the auto-response message.,then wait for their reply before calling maybe, if they did'nt respond.

-How long usually they send you a message for inquiry about the case?

call them and takes 10 to 20 minutes to get an update about ur case.

i received a reply from NVC asking about case completion about 2wks time i think. but since i cant wait dat long, i used to call their hotline every now and then until an operator told me that my case is complete. now i cant sign to payment portal. SIF could it be?

N-400 Timeline:

Applied online - 07/24/19

Omg! I just received their email lastnight and it says:

(A letter was sent to the petitioner or attorney of record indicating the Affidavit of Support requirement for this case is incomplete.) It took a week when I send them email.

*And is it an issue if all of the letters from them, they mispelled my first name and middle initial? I'm worried...

Any help would be much appreciated???

You can also email them...

You have to make sure your petitioner or lawyer fix the problem with the Affidavit so your case could be completed. Make sure they take care of it ASAP.

I told my husband already, he did'nt received any letter stating of incompletion, so he went to our attorney and told us that she will call NVC today to inquire about our case.

-Oh, I have another quick question, is it an issue if my name is mispelled in all of the letter I received??? Like first name and middle initial...

Yes it is an issue. You have to correct your name as soon as possible
