Clar have you all filed your petition, received NOA1, received NOA2, or at NVC?

I would not suggest you doctor what was given to you. If AIRTEL has email send one asking and include whatever response you get with your records. If they have an office, show up and ask them to write you a letter saying they don't print their records on letterhead. Don't accept a phone conversation. The only time words carry weight is in prayers to God. On Earth paper weighs more.

Hi Olomi_811, yes, we've gone through all the process and have our interview date already.

I was at the Airtel store today and the lady promised to have my request forwarded to their headquarters. Keeping fingers crossed. Blessings to you and yours

You asked about red flags here are a few.

1. Big age differece where woman is older (she past her child bearing years...they assume)

2. Race difference

3. Religion difference

4. Short visits

5. Married on first visit with a short visit and left (its rumored Lagos would like to see at least 21 to 30 days face time by the time of your interview helps)

6. No pictures or few pictures with friends and famiy

7. Not alot of phone records or communications

8. Divorced

9. Children from previous marriage or relationship

10. Educational difference

11. Filed soon after marriage

Remember don't be discouraged many things can be explainied I know every piece of evidence I presented had a summary on the cover page to say something. Call records from 2009 phone disconnected don't have that. Not alot a pictures and I presented their own peint from the gov website talking of the dangers of being outside in Port Harcourt during the time I was there. They can't argue that. It saud to not even go out day or night period.

With the phone calls yes get letterhead. I know when I was at embassy 9/15/2011 there were two guys turned away (not denied) but given the paper for more documentation to present call records from the company with logos. They fear photoshop.

Now you may or may not even be asked btu you know the saying. Better to have and not need than to need and not have.

I use Western Union calling cards and print my log. If we had to relie on my husbands MTN (and he works there) we would be screwed. It's ben way over a year and they have yet to produce records plus they want $50 for every month. Ummm I think not.

Hope this helps.

Thank you dwheels76, this really helps! Great information and advice.

We don't have the red flags 1-11 you listed, but I have read on here that you never know with Lagos Consulate. All we can do is prepare and be ourselves. And I like how you supported your response by quoting a publication from the gov website.

Best!

Wonderful! I pray all goes well at your interview and little emphasis be placed on your call logs!

Peace

Amen!

Yay back it up with their own words. See this is why I couldn't travel all over and be sally tourist. Also affidavits from police and witnesses to my two attempted kidna@ping. So yep.

Just as long as you just show a relationship. They look at the totality of it all. I know reading on these forums about Nigeria seems daunting and scary. And it should embrace the challenge and welcome. We been on a roll ya'll . Oh no I feel a song come on "we r family I got all my 9ja peeps with me".

It started in May and approval after approval. I believe people are really doing their due diligence and not just submitting the evidence but having a relationship. Cuz after the approvals the POE its just them and us no immigration is coming to referee. So its good people are preparing and showing Lagos "how u like me now" Bam baby! (Sorry I have no sense forgive please :D

Mine from Tmobile were all spread sheets without the logo and they worked, HOWEVER they saw how many we had and barely looked at them. They focused much more on the pictures. I would try to get a letter as suggested just in case.

Thanks jenkatx. We now have US call records on the phone company letterhead and still waiting on reply from Airtel Nigeria.

We have pictures from before, during and after wedding. My question is, how did you present your pictures to the CO? Our pictures are in large photo albums that may not fit through the window at interview. Did you use small photo books or did you have your pictures separated into different envelops to fit through the window. I'm just wondering how to pass pictures to the CO... in photo books or in envelops or just by handing them one by one.

Regarding the pictures, were those pictures you submitted during the petition stage or did you show up with additional pictures?

I haven't be back to see my Fiancee since I filed so I have no new pictures though Id di submit quite a bit with the petition package. Should I submitted the same pictures again?

Thanks for your response.
