Hey all!

Today they generated my AOS bill, so I submitted the payment for that and I'm putting together my AOS packet. I'm a full time student, and I work full time. I make $200 a year under the 125 percent poverty guideline when I calculate my wages. However, to make ends meet without a struggle.. I have taken out school loans that cover my rent costs for the year. I know when I file my Federal income taxes, they included that money as income. Can I print out my award letters, and tuition statements to throw me over that minimum limit? Then I wouldn't need to use my co-sponsor, which I feel is the best. I just don't know if they will accept that as income.

Hi,

That must be very frustrating, but unfortunately they will not consider grants, scholarships, or loans as part of your income. I wish they did because the I would be just fine. ARGHHH

Do you have someone who can cosponsor for you? Hope it all works out.
