My fiance is going Sunday too. I called hotel to see if it's possible to push out to following Sunday. Not sure about Cebu Pacific (coming from DVO). I'm ready to push it out if necessary but she really wants to get this over with! CFO seminar too.

BruceL,

I went ahead and got my fiance a ticket for Sunday after hearing the rain was stopping and the clinic was open. She will be flying in from CDO. At present, I have not booked a hotel. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks for the info.

regards,

Finally got a hold of Ann. She and Angelica are a little scared, the water has started to recede. They only have about a foot of water in the house compared to approx 6-7 feet at 930am there time on 8/7. They are still a little concerned about the rain but they have a solid house and bottle water and dry goods to hold out for a few days. Hopefully she can survive with the 4 year old who is upset at mom for not saving her Barbie. Ann told her not to worry that Daddi will get her a few more... I can relax a little now. Now if only the NA02 will come from VCS. But we should all be thankful for what we do have and if I have to wait a little longer so be it.

That is really great news

regards,

I booked a room at Lotus Gardens via agoda.com.

I was able to pay via CC yet put the reservation in her name. I contacted the hotel via e-mail to confirm they will accept when she gets there. They provide airport service too. (800p i think).

Ema stayed at Lotus Garden. She said it was clean, close and she had wifi in her room.

I went through Agoda and it was $ 41 + tax a night.
