Finally got a hold of Ann. She and Angelica are a little scared, the water has started to recede. They only have about a foot of water in the house compared to approx 6-7 feet at 930am there time on 8/7. They are still a little concerned about the rain but they have a solid house and bottle water and dry goods to hold out for a few days. Hopefully she can survive with the 4 year old who is upset at mom for not saving her Barbie. Ann told her not to worry that Daddi will get her a few more... I can relax a little now. Now if only the NA02 will come from VCS. But we should all be thankful for what we do have and if I have to wait a little longer so be it.

Does the water usually recede quickly once the rain slows down?

All depends on the continued rains and the sun. They just had back to back Typhoon/Heavy rains and it won't go down with continued rains. The raining has stopped as of now and the morning news said it started to recede a little. Crazy pics with all the people wading through waste deep water...

My prayers form everyone. My fiance was going to fly to Manila on Sunday and have medical exam at St. Luke's on Monday.

We are monitoring the situation to see if we need to change plans.

Any recomendations?

My fiance is going Sunday too. I called hotel to see if it's possible to push out to following Sunday. Not sure about Cebu Pacific (coming from DVO). I'm ready to push it out if necessary but she really wants to get this over with! CFO seminar too.
