HELP WITH PACKET 3 MONTREAL

I received my Packet 3 letter via email on August 3, 2012. I'm currently working on the documents required to be sent back. It asks for DS-230 Part 1 only. Are we not supposed to complete the Part II sworn statement? or do we and send it on but not sign it. Also, I've read different things on the DS160 online confirmation. Some say Montreal requires it, others say its not required for K1. Any advice on these matter is greatly appreciated. Of if someone could post what they recently returned to Montreal and received Packet 4. I feel like I'm going around in circles, trying to sort this all out.

Any advice!!!!! Please and thank you!

not familiar with your consulate but @ every single consulate, your require to fill out part 1 of the ds-230, sign it and send it to them (scanned or mail) so they can assign you an interview date. the rest of the instructions will be in the packet 4 you receive after you get the appointment date confirmation. you will be required to present the ds-230 part II at the interview and all. Just follow the directions on VJ as it relates to your consulate and you will be just fine. :thumbs:
